Pure Air Distribution Ltd – committed to delivering excellence!
Haier group was founded in Qingdao, China in 1984. With China opening up to world markets, foreign corporations began searching for partnerships in China. One of these, Germany’s refrigerator company Liebherr, entered a joint-venture contract with Qingdao Refrigerator Co., offering technology and equipment to its Chinese counterpart. Out of this grew Haier air conditioning, providing advanced air conditioning solutions to meet a wide variety of needs across the world, with exportation to more than 100 countries and regions, such as the United States, Italy, France, Russia, India and now the UK.
Qingdao is also home to the impressive Haier Industrial Park, where you will find the world’s most advanced HVAC R&D centre and its adjacent height drop testing facility (standing at 106 metres tall, the tallest test tower of its kind) towering over other buildings in the park. The R&D centre puts Haier in a leading position to provide the best HVAC product solutions suitable for different climates and environments around the world. The six story building houses 1,000 plus experienced engineers and technicians and is equipped with 120 test labs.
With its acquisition of the New Zealand appliance manufacturer Fisher & Paykel in 2012 and General Electric‘s appliance division in 2016, Haier now has world-leading technology and design to offer its customers complete solutions from the entire product range.
David Cleveland, Research Director of Euromonitor, the world leading strategic market information supplier, with industrial experts in eighty countries, recently reported that Haier is the number one brand of connected air conditioners, including smart air conditioners in the world.
The Haier range offers quality products from residential air conditioners, through multi-splits and MRV, to large chillers, all of which are available to the UK market.
